Ok, so nothing majorly amazing happened, like I finished my book and editors have already snatched it up, or alan rickman turned up and demanded my hand in marriage (*swoon*), but I have found *employment*!
Indeed friends, no longer Laura 'sponge on the watery fields of council funds', 'tis now 'Librarian Laura', and I'm due to start in November.

So today was a good day.

I'm trying to keep this whole thing together, I really am. But I feel upset and betrayed.

What else did you expect?

I've always tried to be a good person and there for my friends, but it seems I either wasn't there for you enough or you just don't like me and that's the way it was always going to be in spite of anything I do.

Ahhhh well, c'est la vie. I just don't know how I've managed to inspire such animosity. Sorry if I've managed it with anyone else...

A mostly joking rant about something that actually also happens to be true... sorry

Walking to work yesterday, I fell on ice and broke my hand. I am less than impressed at my terrible balance and more than ticked at the weather.

On the bright side, I don't have to go to work.

On other hand I have very little to do and will have less money than I normally have to keep myself entertained. And no gym.

Balls.

Im focusing on the no work thing. I now have all the time in the world to go to interviews and get out of that rubbishy retail place. Any job offers should be posted here. Lols. And as for the gym.... pfffft. I have a Wii fit... when I can work out how to switch it on....
